The leash ring — and the structure behind it
This is where most harnesses fail. Not because the ring breaks — because the ring is sewn to the fabric shell, and the fabric tears out around it. The hardware holds; the body lets go.
This harness is structurally reinforced by an internal webbing skeleton. Every load-bearing ring is bar-tacked through the entire structure — outer fabric, internal foam, and that internal frame. The load rides the frame, not the surface. There's no fabric seam for the hardware to rip out of, because the fabric was never what held the load.

The bar-tacks
Every load point — every ring, every piece of hardware — is locked down with mil-spec bar-tacks, each one stitched through the full stack into the internal frame. Nothing structural hangs on a single surface seam. This is the join that fails on other harnesses; here it's tied into the whole body of the harness.

The webbing
The straps carrying your dog are MIL-W-17337 nylon — an actual military webbing specification, not a marketing word — backed by heavy PET ribbed nylon where the build calls for it. Every strap is bar-tacked into the frame, not just folded and stitched at the ends.

The buckles
Zinc-alloy quick-release — the same latch family used in tactical and climbing rigging. One-handed to open with a deliberate side squeeze, and it does not open under load. No plastic side-release to crack in the cold.

The body
The part that touches your dog all day: 500D Cordura and ballistic nylon over padded foam. Abrasion-resistant enough to outlast the dog, padded enough that a heavy dog leaning into it all walk doesn't get rubbed raw.
