DUO ESSENTIALS is made overseas to our spec, with our patented cinch. It's a lighter, everyday build at a lower price, and we say so plainly.

Why the PRO costs more

Domestic cut-and-sew is expensive. Skilled machine operators, steel hardware, and small runs instead of containers.

It's also why the bar tacks are in the right place. Every load point is stitched through the internal frame by someone who knows what that joint has to survive — not by a line assembled to a price.

A harness whose job is that your dog never gets loose in traffic is the wrong place to save eleven dollars.

Why we bother

From the mid-90s to the early 2000s, American soft-goods manufacturing largely disappeared. Southern California was once a hub for cut-and-sew — fashion, apparel, technical gear. Within a few years, most of it was gone.

What's left is a handful of shops with real skill and not enough work. Every PRO run we place keeps a little of that capacity alive.

It starts small, like planting a seed. By manufacturing here the costs go up and delivery is slower, but your purchase is the water and sunlight we need to bear fruit.

If any part of your PRO harness fails — buckle, ring, stitching, or webbing — we repair or replace it, free, for the life of the harness. Send it back. You'll deal with the person who built it.
