WHAT IS THIS HARNESS FOR: The Direct is designed to deter heavy pullers and dogs that tend to be highly reactive or extremely difficult to control. If you have a big (or little!) dog that is tough to control - but more importantly, they pull your arm off, this is the harness for you. Gives you the same control as a collar or prong collar without putting strain on your pup's neck and throat.
Made from 500D Cordura, 1000D Ballistic Nylon, Milspec webbing and Aluminum buckles rated to 500 pounds.
WHO IS IT FOR: The DIRECT is designed as a daily walker to deal with heavy pulling and reactivity. If you struggle to handle your pup on the daily walk it is a good option.
HOW IT WORKS: The front pull ring system redirects your dogs pulling energy turning them to the side as they lunge. Additionally the harness grabs hold of your pup's body when they are resisting, reacting or any other situation where they are most prone to slipping their restraint.
The specialized contraction of the DIRECT harness is the secret to give you better control over your dog. Most harnesses are ill fitting and don't have the coverage over the body to truly be effective. Dogs 'swim' in their harnesses and tend to either pull off their bodies or twist and turn. See the picture below. Both the DIRECT and ADAPT cinch down to you your pup's body giving you much better control with LESS EFFORT.
WHY WE DESIGNED IT: We designed the Direct and Adapt to be the bridge between prong/cinch collars and the traditional harnesses. You get the safety and protection of a harness, with a limited action at the neck to better control you pup. It has a protective underside skid plate and will not inhibit your pups gait the way traditional 'across the bicep' harnesses will. Attachment points on both back and chest. Only the chest attachment point 'cinches.'

My Duo Dog Harness are 2 years old and they are the best harness I have used. I have 2 Saint Bernard and they use to be a handful to walk. From the first time using the DUO Harness no pulling and it a joy to walk my Two Giant Breed dogs. Easy to use and the Company Owners' stands behind his product I had a shipping issue and the Company owner took care of it one of my harness was taken out of the shipping package prior to reach my premise. I train Dobermans. This harness is undoubtedly the best I have used in my 40 plus years of training this breed. The front hook no pull system works better then any collar or prong collar on the market. Pressure on the chest works better for control then pressure on the neck. And you won't damage the nerves that traverses from the neck to the rest of the body. I have used this on Dobermans that were completely out of control, and within the first half hour the behavior changed completely. The quality is impeccable and will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend this harness.
We have a 7 month old English Mastiff who’s growing, growing, growing. I’ve tried a ton of different harnesses as he’s continued to blossom. Lately though, I haven’t been able to walk him by myself because he’d “sled pull” me for the first 10 minutes. I ordered this harness and WOW! It’s perfect for him. I can now walk him on my own and it allows us to continue practicing “leash walking” without him pulling me all over the place! Highly recommend if you have a giant breed puppy.
The Duo Direct No Pull Harness has exceeded our expectations. Our Newfoundland always sled dog pulls for the first half of his walk, even using a prong collar. The first time we put the Duo Direct No Pull harness on him he didn’t pull at all. He was calm and walked right by my side. He loves his new harness and best of all we no longer have to use a prong collar on him.
Took a chance on this harness after seeing it recommended on a blog I read. I have been dragged along on our walks with my 140lb Newfoundland for the past year. We had tried everything and it either made no difference or he literally busted out of it. This harness lives up to the recommendations! It is the sturdiest and highest quality harness I have seen. Love how easy it is to get on and off. Our dog still pulls, but I have much better control over him now and he seems pretty comfortable in it.
