We recently started using the Duo Direct harness with our rescue puppy, Sunny, and we’re already really impressed with the quality. The materials feel durable without being bulky, and it’s easy to put on and adjust.
Sunny is still learning that the world isn’t so scary, so having a harness that gives us better control while keeping him comfortable has been really helpful during training and walks. We especially appreciate how secure it feels without restricting his movement.
You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s comfortable, well-made, and has given us more confidence as we continue working with Sunny on his leash skills. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality training harness.
The direct light is the first harness I feel fits my girl Ruby properly because it tightens when she pulls so there’s not a huge gap. Because of that, it’s offers as good or better control than a gentle leader without the restriction to gait. Her chest is about 28.5” and neck about 19” so the medium fits great but if you’re at 30” chest I’d size up if you can. The customer service was excellent.
We purchased 2 of these and love the quality. We did a quick trial walk and it seemed like it will do what it's supposed to to help with extreme pulling. I will update my review & include pics/video when we've had a chance to do a full walk with both of our maniac dogs.
I LOVE this harness! My dog pulled me over twice last week before we got this. Splat on sidewalk! I've tried the nose loop thing and the big spike collar but he just pulls through those. He's mostly real good on a leash but he sees a bunny and off he goes! First time he chased a bunny with this harness his butt swung around and he ended up facing me!! WIN!
